Updated Playlist, Yvonne Kupka Medical Fund, & New Music From Tony Adamo

Updated Playlist for 11-29-2010 and a debut cut from Tony Adamo's soon to be released CD.   Its a cover of the Temptations "The Way You Do The Things You Do." Also, a tribute to Yvonne Kupka, and info on The Yvonne Kupka Medical Fund.

The following is from Tony Adamo's PR folks:

"Singer Tony Adamo is into a finger tappin’ soul groove of a tune that is a swingin' funk affair. Raoul Fernandes at Horndrivenradio will once again usher in one of Adamo’s new tunes to his radio audience. This tune is a feverishly kool and jazz mash-up take on The Temptations hit, "The Way You Do The Things You Do." You will hear Stephen "Doc" Kupka’s legendary horn signature. Other band members include: James Gadson-Drums, Neil Larsen-Organ, Robert Quintana-Percussion, Sandy Griffith-Background Vocals, “Doc Kupka-Bari, Melecio Magdaluyo-Sax, Henry Hung-Trumpet & Bone, and Jerry Stucker-Bass & Guitar. "The Way You Do The Things You Do" is one of the cuts from Adamo’s new CD, WHAT IS HIP is produced by Jerry Stucker. WHAT IS HIP will be released in early 2011. Stucker has TOP horn members playing throughout this new CD. You can find Tony Adamo's music on Doc Kupka's Strokeland Records http://www.strokeland.com/".

YVONNE KUPKA MEDICAL FUND ANNOUNCED

Los Angeles, California (Nov. 24, 2010) - Yvonne Depatis-Kupka is the renowned and highly respected Hollywood makeup artist and actress whose work has appeared in more than 50 movies and television shows including Planet of the Apes, In Living Color, CSI Miami, In Treatment, True Blood, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and many more. Yvonne is the wife of Stephen "Doc" Kupka, legendary baritone saxophonist and founding member of Tower of Power and President of Strokeland Records.
Yvonne Depatis Kupka
Yvonne is on the California liver transplant list, seriously ill and urgently in need of this surgery. Simply put, the cost for this major surgery and post-operative care substantially exceeds her health insurance coverage and the family's resources. Major surgery shouldn't bankrupt a family or threaten to financially ruin their lives. So the Friends of Yvonne and Doc Kupka have organized this medical fund to help cover the uninsured portion of these extreme medical expenses.
YOU CAN HELP. If you would like to give back to the Kupka family in order to honor the joy they have given us all over the years, please make a donation to the fund, to assist the family with the very expensive liver transplant surgery.
